Dr Kizza Besigye as a kingmaker in his own right, will have a problem to endorse anyone for Kyadondo East seat if the electoral commission declares it vacant.
Popular singer Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been publicised as interested in the seat. It was given that he would sweep the constituency given his mobilisation skills, close links to the biggest homeboy Besigye as well as a popular figure.
That was until Besigye’s closer friend Ingrid Turinawe came into the picture.
Ingrid, a renown activist who has stood unsuccessfully in her home area in Rukungiri, has come out to show interest in Kyadondo East. Her campaign poster is already circulting on social media.
Now, if the two actually come out to stand, Dr Besigye might be forced to stay out of the contest – may be he will offer tactical support to both to not spoil spoil his relations with either of the two.
