Legendary musician Joseph Mayanja famously known as Jose Chameleone has revealed why he gives less attention to fellow singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool.
Chameleone says he will give the ‘Nkuliyo’ singer attention when he starts speaking sense.
“I will give Bebe Cool attention when it is the right time. When he has something sensible to say, I will respond,” Chameleone told journalists this week.
Despite their different political affiliations, Chameleone who is a member of the Democratic Party (DP) further urged his fans to stop attacking Bebe Cool for supporting ruling party NRM, saying “It is his right”.
The ‘mateeka’ singer’s assertion follows Bebe Cool’s claim that the former was his daily boda boda cyclist who wanted to be like him.
“What you fans don’t know is that Chameleone was one of my fans and he wanted to be like me. He always looked for ways to get close to me so that I could give him music tips. He had a motorcycle and would wait for me on a daily basis so that he could drop me home,” self proclaimed Big Size disclosed recently.
On the issue of supporting Chameleone for Kampala City Lord mayor seat, Bebe Cool stated, “I cannot vote for Jose Chameleone and his friend Bobi Wine unless they are in NRM, politics is not all about voting for your friends but rather rallying behind someone with a vision and can deliver.”
