UNCDF officials say that this campaign is launched to help educate the youth about the benefits of banking to improve on their income.

“Uganda has the world’s youngest population, 78% are under 30, but it has one of the highest youth unemployment rates.” UNCDF official said.

This campaign was also supported by the child finance and the UNCDF youth start.

Child finance is a global movement dedicated to empower children and youth to reshape finance and their future and ultimately break the cycle of poverty.

Global money week has kicked off the celebrations across over 135 countries.
