As many artistes are struggling to make hit songs, it’s evident that Swangz Avenue’s singer Winfred Nakanwagi aka Winnie Nwagi is working hard to get into trouble.
Again, Nwagi is wanted by police, and this time round its because she beat up her maid almost to death over using her water battle.
The maid in question filed a domestic violence and assault case at Kikaaya Police Station under Reference number SD REF: 20/25/09/2019 against the songstress.
She told police that Nwagi beat her up because she went to the hospital with her water bottle and took long to return home. An angry Nwagi then physically assaulted her and later forced her (the maid) to pack and leave her house.
Currently, neither the singer nor her management have come out to comment on the issue
However, ever since the year started, the Mataala singer has been involved in a lot of indiscipline, miss conduct, unprofessionalism scandals among others.
Nwagi reportedly assaulted a Journalist during the Swangz All-Star concert at Cricket Oval for taking her pictures without permission, she was also dragged to police for failing to perform at a show after she was already paid among other police cases.
The singer was also brought to justice by the Anti-Pornographic Committee over her indecent dress code and inappropriate dance moves in front of children at St Mary’s College Kisubi, however Swangz Avenue later came out and apologized.
“We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th, we have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same,” Swangz noted.
