A wealthy businessman from Thailand is offering a life changing fortune to any man who stands a chance to marry his virgin daughter.

Arnon Rodthong, 58, is frustrated that Karnsita, 26, is still single while helping to run the family business in Chumphon province, southern Thailand.

While local custom dictates that a man should pay a dowry, Mr Rodthong thinks otherwise when it comes to his university graduate daughter.

The tycoon said he will give his future son-in-law 10m Thai baht/ £240,000 (over Shs1.16 billion) plus a stake in his vast farm valued at billions of shillings.

Rodthing said there are also no restrictions on what nationally the successful applicant should be, meaning that Ugandan men also stand a chance.

But his top three requirements are:

“He doesn’t have to be that smart – just able to read and write. Please don’t bring your degrees to cluster the house.”

“Hard working and not lazy.”

“Stingy about money and loves durian.”

Durian is a spiny oval tropical fruit containing a creamy pulp. Despite its fetid smell it is highly valued for its flavour.

The businessman’s durian farm processes some 50 tonnes of it every day and it’s the biggest in the region. He also owns property and land across the region.

“As soon as I have an in-law, I will give up all my assets to him,” he said.

According to mirror.co.uk, Karnsita, who has older brothers, said that she was overwhelmed with the attention from her father’s post and confirmed she is “still single”.

But she hinted that her future boyfriend might have a struggle pocketing the money from her father, as she would “like to use it herself for plastic surgery in Korea”.

She added: “I first found out about my father’s post when my friend’s showed me. I was surprised but I can see the funny side to it, too.
