News reaching our desk indicate that Kyadondo east MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been blocked from boarding a flight at Entebbe Airport and taken to Mulago hospital Kiruddu.

Bobi Wine on Thursday evening was due to fly to United States, according to sources to seek treatment in Washing DC. The legislator who was earlier reported missing at his hospital bed earlier in the day, was stopped from flying, just like his Mityana municipality counterpart Francis Zaake, who was blocked earlier in the day.

This development was later confirmed by Mr Nicholas Opio one of the lawyers of MP Kyagulanyi.

Both Zaake and Bobi need further treatment as Lubaga hospital, one of the biggest in the country, believe their case in beyond their capacity.

Vehicles reportedly carrying Bobi were seen speeding along Entebbe Road in the early evening, in the company of police patrols.

It comes as a surprise that he was not allowed to check in, and security removed him from the line as he used the general gate to access the check in area. A source at the airport said he was asked to board an ambulance which we could not ascertain where it was headed.

Also, our source said people at the airport were left wondering what was going on, while phones of those people who filmed or photographed the operation, were taken away from them.
