A senior New Vision Investigative journalist Charles Etukuri has been picked my armed men.
The journalist was picked by people said to be security officers from outside his company’s premises on Second Street Industrial Area in Kampala city.
New Vision broke the news in a tweet.
“Security operatives abduct Vision Group journalist @EtukuriCharles from New Vision head offices in Kampala.” Said a tweet from the company’s handle, @newvisionwire.
It is not yet clear which security outfit has picked Etukuri however, the journalist famed for his crime reporting, is a close associate to police chief Gen Kale Kayihura.
Security agencies, particularly CMI and ISO have been cracking a whip on Gen Kayihura’s inner circle.
