Recently as the contentious age limit debate raged on, a group of youth putting on t-shirts bearing First Son Maj Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s photos also holding campaign flyers with underwritings like ‘Muhoozi Kainerugaba our generation president’.

The youth who identified themselves as MK Generation want Muhoozi to run for president in 2021.

Many critics attributed the youth’s move to the infamous ‘Muhoozi project’ which allegedly aims at succeeding President Yoweri Museveni with his son.

However, Gen. Muhoozi who is the Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations has denied having any tie with the youth in question.

According to his spokesperson Maj Chris Magezi, Muhoozi has no knowledge about the group and what they claim to represent.

“Maj Gen Muhoozi wishes to unequivocally state that he has no knowledge about that group of youth and what they claim to represent,” said Maj Magezi.

He further revealed that Muhoozi “has never met or interacted with any of them and, therefore, the views and opinions they have been propagating are solely their own,” adding that, “Muhoozi has no intention to join politics in the foreseeable future,”
