Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s longest-serving president, has profoundly impacted the nation’s trajectory. His leadership has shaped Uganda’s political landscape, economic development, and international standing.

Restoring Stability and Security in Uganda

Ending the Bush War; Museveni led the National Resistance Movement (NRM) to victory in the 1986 Bush War, bringing an end to years of civil strife and instability.

Building a Strong Military; The NRM government established a professional and disciplined military force, capable of safeguarding Uganda’s borders and protecting its citizens.
