Minister for Ethics and Integrity Fr. Simon Lokodo has said the way suspended Makerere University Don Dr. Stella Nyanzi reacted against First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni was unprofessional, immature and very uncivilized.
According to Fr. Lokodo, the language Nyanzi uses is profane and immoral as she infringes on the rights of people with her language.
While appearing on NBS TV today morning, the minister said Nyanzi might be mentally derailed. Her attack towards the First Lady was overboard citing that if she had points to put across, that was not the right nomenclature to use whilst doing it.
“Stella Nyanzi might be mentally derailed. Her attack towards the First Lady was overboard. If Dr. Stella Nyanzi had points to put across, that was not the right nomenclature to use whilst doing it,” said Lokodo adding that social media may be in support of Nyanzi but many people are condemning her behavior.
Meanwhile, Lokodo applauded Janet Museveni for coming out openly to forgive Nyanzi saying that the academia is a child and the First lady did a motherly act of forgiving the child in wrong.
