ANDREW IRUMBA: NUP is too young to decide Moses Kasibante’s political trajectory

MP Moses Kasibante

MP Moses Kasibante

I have known Hon. Kasibante Moses way back during his CBS days and beyond.

When the military closed #DailyMonitor and #redpepper over controversial stories, I mobilized practicing journalists to storm parliament and demonstrate.

Cowardly Chris Obore at the time (I don’t know now) and most Daily monitor and red pepper journalists only remained on their social medias platforms analysing my actions and those of military, although they had assured me that they would join me at 8am at the National theatre, non turned up. One skinny man from Redpepper called Baita Amon only joined me?

At that time Kasibante had just become an MP, I was amazed to find him at National theatre, waiting for ‘action’! He joined me, I got arrested, he offered to be arrested along, but police pushed him off the patrol at the parliamentary entrance as they whisked me away to CPS.

I have known Kasibante to be a very reliable fighter, he is consistent and dependable. NUP is too young to decide his political trajectory.

Soon NUP will be like me (I’m a mutooro), pouring cooking oil to take empty jerrican.

I will support him as independent. We can’t afford to lose brainy legislatures in a simplistic manner like that.
