DR. DAVID NAMANYA: Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among’s Endorsement of CDF Speaks Volume

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba with President Museveni

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba with President Museveni

ShareTweetSendShare

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, the powerful, towering, and flamboyant Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, opened a multi-million-dollar Bukedea teaching hospital to offer free maternity care for mothers in Bukedea district, eastern Uganda. This was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The speaker acknowledged, the president, for leading Uganda to greatness, elevating Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to the top of the army leadership, and appointing to cabinet some of the best mobilisers for NRM and now Gen. Muhoozi’s PLU and MK projects, Dr. Balaam Barugahara Atenyi and Aber Lillian, among others. At the same function, the Rt. Hon. Anita Among took to her knees to express her sincere gratitude to the President for his devout leadership, which she equated to the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The strong woman from Bukedea is an enigma. Born in Bukedea in 1973, she has risen through life with progressive speed to become the speaker of the 11th parliament, having served as the deputy speaker in the 11th parliament for just a few months. Recruited from FDC, where her mobilisation skills were first noticed by Gen. Museveni and NRM machinery, she is now the biggest asset to the NRM establishment. The President must be happy with the Rt. Hon. Anita Among’s loyalty to him and to the NRM party.

Rt. Hon. Anita has expressed her support for President Museveni and the NRM in Eastern Uganda, extending her support to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s future presidential candidacy. She confirmed that Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba will become Uganda’s president in the near future. Anita also named building blocks and wards in a new hospital after Gen. Muhoozi, his wife, and Natasha. This endorsement demonstrates Anita’s loyalty to the President, his immediate family, and the CDF, Gen. Muhoozi. The relationship between the Speaker of Parliament and the CDF is expected to make the commander in chief’s work easier and smoother. President Museveni will thus use the CDF and the Rt Hon Speaker to secure our future. To Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and the Rt. Hon. Anita, God has made you sit on the highest mountain in Uganda to serve Ugandans and the NRM government under the President and Fountain of Honour. You have been given a rare chance to shine and be engraved on Uganda’s terrain and beyond. The Uganda you are leading has immense resources: wildlife, fresh water, a young and resilient population, oil, and arable land, but it is devoid of patriotic leadership especially the civil servants. But your synergy and enthusiasm for service will eliminate opportunism and corruption while enhancing service delivery to Ugandans. Remember, you were chosen as torchbearer of 45 million Ugandans, I pray that God uses you to provide solutions to some of these questions that give Ugandans sleepless nights: (1) How do we tackle the cancer corruption? (2) the challenge of youth unemployment? (3) How do we streamline the current parliament with some members who are not cognizant of the challenges facing their country? (4) How do we manage our current debt burdens? I have some suggestions only when consulted, or else please read the autobiography of Lee Kuan of Singapore. “From the Third World to the First World.”

For God and my country!
