Two people have been shot dead along Entebbe Expressway near Mpala stage.

The incident happened on Thursday night at around 10:20 pm.

The killed are identified as Merina Tumukunde and Joshua Ntereho Ruhegyero.

Hill Water

The victims were travelling in a black Toyota Landcruiser registration number UAW 534B.

An AK 47 riffle was found on the crime scene and police are now investigating if it was an ambush, or the assailant was travelling with them.

“At around 10:30pm I was driving at a terrific speed as I spotted a car, doors on the driver’s side wide open and still in ignition. I moved out wondering what was happening, as I moved closer, I saw one dead body lying in a pool of blood so I called the Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga who alerted the officers,” says an eyewitness Simon Kaggwa Njala, who is also a journalist.

This is a developing story…
