State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Aidah Nantaba has survived an assassination.
The Minister was on Sunday afternoon on her way from Kayunga to Kampala when gunmen riding on a motorbike opened fire on her official car.
Nantaba who was on alert quickly sped off before reporting the matter to Naggalama Police Station.
Police in response, launched an operation and intercepted one of the assailants by name of Ronald Sebulime in Nagojje Sub County thus putting him out of action.
Posting on her social media after the terrible incident, the Kayunga District Women MP said she is still traumatized.
“God is great, I survived death from nasty assailants who opened fire on my car around Nagalama! Am still traumatized but praising God for the survival,” she said.
