Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort has once again scooped an international award.

The prestigious resort has won the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2018.

Established in 2006, World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of achievement in the luxury hotel industry offering international recognition as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike.

Over 300 000 international travelers vote each year, during a four-week period to select the winners.

Luxury hotels have the opportunity to participate in the World Luxury Hotel Awards by entering hotel categories that showcase their unique selling points and destinations.

About Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort:

Set on 90 acres of lush gardens overlooking Lake Victoria, this serene, upmarket resort is a 15 minutes’ walk from Munyonyo Martyrs’ Shrine and 13 km from the Independence Monument. Entebbe International Airport is 44 km away.

Colourful rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, as well as in-room safes and balconies with garden or lake views. Suites add kitchenettes and separate living areas. A thatched bi-level cottage sleeps up to 4 guests. In-room dining is available 24/7.

Breakfast is free. Other amenities include 6 restaurants, a bar and outdoor pool, plus a spa and gym. There’s also meeting space for up to 15,000 people.
