The Uganda Boxing Federation(UBF) has registered great success in the ongoing National schools intermediate boxing championship.
Speaking to the Public Relations Officer for UBF Sula Senyonjo, he highlighted that they have managed to register a total of 96 boys and 12 girls all fighting until the time when they get the winners.
Senyonjo commended the very many schools which trusted them with their students to come and showcase their talents.
The tournament is expected to close on Saturday where the winners shall be given awards from UBF.
Various games were played and below are the standing results for the fights so far.
National schools championship day 1.
1- KAWUKI Jordan 52 kg of Aggrey ss won yiga Andrew of Mukono SS
2- Arafat Kigozi 56 kg of bweyogerere won kyagulanyi arafisa of Buloba.
3- nagib owundo 64 kg of kololo won Nasif Marvin of Margret SS.
4- ssemakula hakim 64 kg of Nakulabye juniors won matovu Denis of Bweyogerere.
5- Davis laku 60 kg of Nakulabye won JAMIL kakaire of Bweyogerere.
6- kigundu sulaiman 60 kg of kololo high won Aziz abudallah of Nsangi SS.
7- muwanguzi Jackson 52 kg of Kampala high won Wasswa john Paul of mukono.
8- olowo Paul 52 kg of bweyogerere won bravo Hassan of Nsangi SS
