After officially taking over as the Inspector General of Police on Thursday, the next day Mr. Okoth Ochola kicked off his duties by sending 60 top police commanders to National Leadership Institute in Kyakwanzi for a political education and leadership course.
The selected officers, who will depart on 24 March, 2018 will spend a period of three months at the training centre.
According to Police Chief Commissar AIGP Asan Kasingye, the officers in command positions will have to handover to their second in command before they leave for the course.
