Every January 17, property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia celebrates his birthday in a manner his family know how best he joys such special days.

But his 62nd birthday he was caught off guard by staff of his newly built Speke Apartments on Wampewo Avenue in Kololo who got a few minutes to wish their boss a happy birthday before the real party.

As the businessman held his routine meetings, as he usually does at his properties, the staff at Speke Apartments mobbed him, singing, dancing and drumming to happy birthday songs.

He was served with a chocolate cake and he shared smiles with his staff in appreciation for the gesture.

This is the first birthday Sudhir was celebrating at Speke Apartments which has become a popular place with Kampala’s foreign visitors and Upper class corporates who wind down at the leisure apartments with leisure accommodations, swimming pools, gym, sauna and steam rooms, plus a world class restaurant and serviced apartments.
