Arab Companies sign contracts to renovate Ugandan Hospitals

Ministry of health has today signed contracts with two Arab contractors including the Arab contractors company limited and Aisadim al-kuwait company to renovate referral hospitals of Kayunga and Yumbe districts and procure hospital equipment.

The contracts were signed today at the ministry of health boardroom in Kampala by the ministry of health permanent secretary Dr. Diana Atwine in the presence of local leaders of the two districts.

The contractors were represented by khaled Nasser al-Saleh who represented Alsadim and Muhamad Tolba represented the Arab contractors.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Dr.Diana atwine said the renovation will take two years from tomorrow Saturday when the contractors will be given the project officially and cautioned the contractors against continued delays and bureaucracy.

Atwine also appealed to the contractors not to dare give bribe to any one as these has always affected the country including loosing it lots of money.

She again asked local leaders to supervise the works for effective outcome.
