FUFA extends support to Busoga Youth Retreat

FUFA has extended its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities this year to the people of Busoga by coming out to be part of the ‘Ekigunga Kya Busoga’ to run from 9th-17th December at Emirates Secondary School, in Kamuli District.

FUFA offered 5M shillings (Five Million Shillings) and 20 footballs to the organisers of the event aimed at using culture to end early marriages amongst the youths and keep girls in schools.

‘We are glad to receive this contribution from FUFA which was pledged by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo to support 100 vulnerable children to attend the retreat. The balls will help the youths enjoy football during their play time’

FUFA Deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu at FUFA House;

‘We believe that our support will play a key role towards attaining the objective of the retreat which aims at reducing early marriages amongst youths in the Busoga Kingdom. FUFA highly prides in guiding society through such activities which can easily end up producing future leaders and footballers’
