Police in Kabalagala on Tuesday arrested a fake sheikh on accusations of aggravated defilement of 3 young girls he had been coaching Arabic lessons.
According to ?a??? al-Bukh?r? one of the six major hadith collections of Sunni Islam called Afflictions and the End of the World, Abu Hurairah narrates that Muhammad said; “The Hour will not be established until two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, until about 30 dajjals appear, and each of them will claim that he is Allah’s Apostle…”
The statement refers to the hypocrisy and spiritual emptiness of false religious leaders.
Residents of Kibuli woke up to the painful reality of the religious allusion after a sheikh they entrusted with teaching Arabic to their children allegedly abused them sexually.
The suspect (name withheld for legal reasons) leader of Maimunah Majid Mosque in Kibuli lured the three young girld (all five year old) that were always playing along the corridors of prayer house by convincing their parents of how he was willing to offer free Arabic lessons and other religious lessons. At the end of every lesson the religious leader began to engage the young children into a habit of watching pornographic videos and photos. According to the children he then after sometime told them that the time for watching was over hence they needed to practice physically how to engage into these acts.
Later some of these children developed health complications which prompted them to narrate to their parents what had transpired during their encounter with the sheikh.
On carrying out medical checkups, the medical reports indicated that the accused had defiled their innocence. This prompted the police to swing in and effect his arrest.Unfortunately out of the 3 children, only 2 were able to have their statements recorded by police investigators. The suspect was arraigned before Makindye Chief Magistrates Court on Thursday and remanded to Luzira Prison.
According to research, the public needs to understand that pornography doesn’t really show what sex is, it shows what selfish pleasure is and shows conflicting messages about consent. Today’s pornography sells the idea that your pleasure is more important than anyone else’s pain or abuse. It teaches viewers to minimize the sexual trauma of others because in porn, ‘no’ eventually turns into ‘yes.’ It’s time we wake up to the toxic ideas that pornography promotes.
