Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake has gained a smile on his face after his father Sembuusi Emmy Butebi cleared his hospital bills and he is set to be operated on in US.

Parliament is yet to wire funds to Zaake’s bank account citing that it is still following procedures for his clearance to receive treatment abroad.

Zaake is one of the MPs who were manhandled and injured by plain-clothed security who raided Parliament chambers in August to bring sanity when legislators especially from the opposition side violently rejected a Private member’s Bill by Igara West county MP Raphael Magyezi that intends to scrap presidential age limit cap.

Recently, Zaake was flown to the United States of America for a specialized treatment. Unfortunately the ailing legislator was not operated on because of a huge medical bill which was yet to be cleared.

According to Zaake’s Personal Secretary / Caretaker, the doctors in US said the legislator’s his diagnosis is a neurological disorder which causes headaches such as cluster and migraine and also detoxification of his body against the chemical that was injected in him.
