So what are the top 10 TV stations in Uganda? According to the latest GeoPoll research which analysed Central Region in Uganda for Q3, 2017, the race is between NTV and Bukedde .
The research which covered the average ratings for the top 10 stations for Central Region in Uganda during peak hours (7PM to 10 PM) show NTV leading in market share with 17% followed by Bukedde and NBS with a share of 14% and 12% respectively in Q3, 2017.
New vernacular televisions Spark TV and BBS TV are fasting catching up. Spark is in fourth position with a share of 8%.
“TV Viewers in Q3, 2017 have their loyalty to NTV during peak hours with its highest point being spotted at 7PM with an average of 6.2. Bukedde consistently takes the second position in ratings during peak hours,” says the GeoPoll.
