President Yoweri Museveni has confirmed that he will be on the presidential ballot paper in 2021.
while addressing the NRM caucus on Friday at parliament, Museveni assured members that he is in support of the contentious age limit bill and he is available to offer any assistance in whatever way possible.
During the same meeting, some pro age limit removal MPs raised concern that of recent they have received more threats from the general public.
However, Museveni assured them that they shouldn’t be frightened since the country has means to deal with anybody who seeks to disrupt peace.
“Don’t worry about that. We have dealt with so many forces before and defeated them, ” he revealed.
Apparently the controversial bill is being moved by Igara West MP Raphael Magyezi and if passed it will enable Museveni stand for president in 2021 even after clocking 75 years of age.
