Kirinya-Jinja S.S, Express and Maroons won their respective games on Tuesday during the different encounters on match day five of the 2017/18 Azam Uganda Premier League.

Express needed Daniel Sserunkuma’s 44th minute goal on 1-0 against Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium, Wankulukuku.

This was the second victory for Express that lifts them to 4th on the league standings with 7 points.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S won away from home 1-0. Faizal Muwawu scored the lone strike in the 4th minute of the game.

Maroons secured their first victory of the season, winning 1-0 at Bright Stars.

Felix Okot got the goal for the Prisons’ funded side on 70 minutes.

The league takes a two day’s break before resuming on Friday when Proline entertains Mbarara City at the Star Times stadium in Lugogo.
