Police is holding three suspects in connection to the murder of a Chinese National who was identified as Yanga Yeshu.

She was shot dead at Nile Steel factory in Mukono on Saturday by two suspected thugs after she refused to hand over money as they demanded.

Hill Water

Police said Yang Yeshu working as a cashier had picked money from the bank to pay wages for employees of the steel manufacturing company.

When the thieves failed to get money from her, police say, the thieves shot the woman dead because it could be the suspects were known to the deceased.

Addressing the media today Police spokesperson, Asan Kasingye revealed the arrested as Joseph Naluda alias Robert Kataala, Francis Ogwal (security guard of the factory) and Julius Katongole an employee of the factory.

Kasingye said that the CCTV footage showed that the security guard made no effort to check the men before allowing them entry which is why he is a suspect.

Kasingye also called upon the public to provide information to aid police investigations and ensure that other suspects are apprehended.
