During weekend, Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagualnyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine was awarded for being a musical activist.
Singer turned politician was honoured at the 3rd edition of the annual Pan-African Pyramid Global awards held at Fairway Hotel on Saturday. He was awarded for his music activism.
During the event, Bobi Wine who is known for his social conscious and critical songs also got the honour of presenting the distinguished leader’s award to the late John Garang De Mabior represented by the ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan.
He posted on his official facebook page;
Just received the Pan African Global Award as a Musical Activist. I also got the honour of presenting the distinguished leader’s award to the late John Garang De Mabior represented by the ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan at fairway hotel Kampala.
