Now that Forum for Democratic Change (FDC)’s Apollo Kantinti has been kicked out of Parliament rendering the Kyadondo East Parliamentary seat vacant, self proclaimed Ghetto gladiator is all geared up for the seat in the forthcoming By elections.
Early today, Court of Appeal upheld the earlier decision by the High court to nullify Kantinti’s election citing anomalies and other electoral malpractices.
The court of Appeal has also ordered the Electoral Commission to conduct fresh elections to fill the now vacant position.
In July last year Bobi Wine revealed his intentions of standing for Kyadondo East parliamentary seat but his dreams were shuttered when Court of Appeal decided to revisit the High Court decision.
So this is another chance for the singer to vie for the position and remember he is a close ally to Dr. Kizza Besigye which means he will be having the former presidential candidate’s full support.
