Police: Don’t believe reports about Kaweesi’s death

Police has produced another Press Release on media speculation on the cause of death of the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi and officers Kenneth Erau and Godfrey Mambewa.

Police says various media houses have reports speculating the cause of death of Kaweesi.

According to the police statement, it would like to clarify that this information is not true. Investigations are still ongoing and police has not released any report to avoid jeopardizing the case thus assuring that once investigation is complete they will announce the findings.

”We request the general public to disregard all sensationalism and disinformation around the death of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi and officers Kenneth Erau and Godfrey Mambewa,” Police spokesperson Asan Kasingye states.

“We also urge the media and public to wait until they receive information from the police before spreading information,” He adds.
