Controversial Senior Presidential Advisor Tamale Mirundi has tasked President Yoweri Museveni’s government to come out and inform the public that Uganda is already an Al-Qaeda state so that people be ready for anything which may arose anytime.
While appearing on NBS TV’s One on One with Tamale Mirundi show today morning, the former Presidential Press Secretary said the government doesn’t want to agree that there’s terrorism in the country yet terrorists have already infiltrated every corner of Uganda.
“The government should come out and say that we have an Al-Qaeda state so that we know,” Tamale said adding that,” This government doesn’t want to agree that there’s terrorism in this country,”
According to Tamale, a country which is money minded can never fight terrorism citing that money greed is the main reason why Uganda has failed to combat terrorism as a security threat.
“A society that is money minded can never fight terrorism,” Tamale noted.
Tamale further went ahead to agree with former presidential candidate Dr.Kizza Besigye on his statement about mafia saying its true Uganda has become a mafia state.
He stated that for so long he has been also saying that enemies infiltrated the government and using it for their own benefits. He blamed the rise of “mafiarism”.
“I want to agree with Dr Kizza Besigye on his statement on mafia. We have a mafia state,” Tamale said.
