Dignitaries pay last respect to the late Boney Katatumba

Dignitaries from all corners of Uganda have gathered today to pay their last respect to the Late Boney Katatumba.

In the afternoon, a requiem mass was conducted at Nyamitanga Cathedral.

Among the notable dignitaries who have attended the burial include; Chief Justice Bart Katureebe, finance minister Matia kasaija, former ethics minister, Miria Matembe, Mbarara Resident District Commissioner Capt Martha Asiimwe ,Mbarara Municipality MP Micheal Tusiime, Rwampara county MP Charles Ngabirano , Mbarara District chairman Capt.JB Bamuturaki, Minister of Tourism,wild life and Antiquities, prof Ephraim Kamuntu,Minister for Veterans Maj. Bright Rwamirama and many more.

Katatumba died on Thursday at IHK after losing a battle to pneumonia and Asthma.

The deceased has been the Honorary Consul of Pakistan to Uganda and he has been one of the few typical rich businessmen in Uganda.

He has been laid to rest at Nyakayojjo, Rwekishokye club.
