During a FUFA presser today, Uganda Cranes head Coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ SredojeviC surprised many when he said that now Uganda Cranes is better than Germany.
Micho said Uganda’s mode of play against Ghana in the African Cup of Nations was far better and that the way the national team dominated the Black Stars not even Germany could match the exceptional skills that day.
“Uganda dominated Ghana in a way that world champions Germany couldn’t.” Micho said.
Meanwhile, on record, Germany is among the top 10 best football playing countries in the world and Uganda is not even among the top 50 countries.
Ghana defeated Uganda in a 1:0 goal difference and its dream to advance to quarter finals of AFCON was shuttered when it was again edged by Egypt.
Uganda exited the AFCON tournament without a single win.
