Singer Jose Chameleone visited comrade Bobi Wine at Lubaga hospital where he was undergoing treatment before he flew out of the country for further management. Chameleone had earlier made calls to President Museveni to use his prerogative as a father, to forgive his misgivings with Bobi Wine’s group which is being accused of stoning at the President’s convoy. The torture metted on the suspects however has left the government in a bad public relations situation. However many people disagreed with Chameleone’s reading of the situation, saying, instead it was the security forces led by President Museveni who transgressed citizens, and that it was better for the security to arrest the politicians and their supporters with dignity, instead of taking the road of torture.
