The Uganda National Examination Board on Thursday released the 2018 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.

A total of 99,576 candidates registered for last year’s Senior Six national examinations at 2,094 centres in the country.

A total of 36, 656 candidates passed with three principal passes, compared to 34,819 in 2017. Another 26, 467 passed with two principal passes, compared to 26,122 in 2017.

This means at least 63,123 candidates who sat for the exams qualify for University admission.
