The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has endorsed Ojok Andrew Oulanyah as a sole candidate (flag bearer) in the upcoming by-election to fill the vacant seat left by the demise of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah.
The meeting that has sat in Rwakitura on Tuesday and attended by the party chairman, Gen Yoweri Museveni, agreed that Mr Ojok was best suited to compete for the seat.
The other aspirants who had earlier shown interest, have all stepped down in honour of the fallen Speaker, Jacob Oulanyah.
This website understands that the by-Election will be held on 26th May.
