The former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Rt Rev Stanley Ntagali has been dragged to Court for sleeping with a married woman.
Rev Christopher Tugumehabwe, through his lawyers of Bikangiso and company advocates accuse Ntagali of causing him emotional distress when he discovered that he was cheating with his wife Judith Tukamuhabwa.
Due to distress, Rev Tugumehabwe says he lost his job at Bishop Barham university where he was a lecturer, including losing his integrity in the public.
According to the lawyers, Ntagali’s public confessions of having committed adultery of late,are some of their evidence.
Ntagali allegedly committed adultery with Tukamuhabwa,a wife to Rev Tugumehabwe . He was later excommunicated from celebrating church functions until further notice.
Now, Rev Tugumehabwe demands that Archbishop Ntagali compensate him with Shs530 million for damages caused.
