Kassanda starts construction of Shs2b district headquarters

Kassanda District has launched the construction of the district headquarters projected to consume over Shs2 billion, with completion dues in three years.

Kassanda  is among the seven districts that became into operational on 1st July 2018.

Robic Construction Company has been contracted for the project, after the The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) process with an appeal to employ local laborers for non skilled services.

The interim district chair Hajj Ziad Kalema said it is a great achievement, and the land to house the district headquarters belongs to Kassanda district local government.
