Ambassador Julius Onen, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives has died.
Onen succumbed to high blood pressure on Sunday at Paragon Hospital in Kampala.
The ministry of Trade confirmed the development in a tweet.
With deep sorrow the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives announces the demise of the Permanent Secretary Amb. Julius B. Onen. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

The deceased is the father of radio personality James Onen, commonly known as FatBoy who works with Sanyu FM.
