Residents in Buseruka sub county in Hoima District are having difficulties in accessing safe water for drinking and domestic use.
To get clean water, it’s about survival for the fittest, you either pay shs1500 for a jerrycan of safe water or walk 4 km to access relatively clean water in wambabya river.
Once it comes to the heart of Buseruka where poverty is at its heights, the kind of water in the area puts residents at risk of unsafe water associated diseases like cholera.
