Police rescues abducted businessman

A businessman reported to have been abducted on 25th May 2018 was found safe after reports that he was abducted by five men from his home in Kyengera and held against his will at an unknown location.

Ms. Rehema Nakawoya a wife to the victim reported to the police about how five unknown men had knocked at their door and whisked him away.

Police located Henry Sematiko in Wobulenzi lying on the ground, tied and unconscious.

The victim has been rushed to Mulago Referral Hospital for further medication.

Its rumoured that the motive of the abductors would be the ongoing wrangles surrounding the current management of Kasubi market where the victim is an active member.

Police has arrested one suspect (Names Withheld for purposes of investigation) in relation to the alleged abduction vide CRB 113/2018.
