The state minister for Lands also Member of Parliament for Bukono County in Namutumba district Persis Namuganza has teamed up with Turkish friends to give the fasting Muslims in her constituency food for breaking their fast.
In her speech while giving out the food to the fasting Muslims, Namuganza said that this is among the good deeds they try to do as well as helping the needy more especially in this holy month of Ramathan.
“I give my Muslim Brothers and Sisters a brief message of fearing God, because He is the source of Wisdom and Strength, I argue you to pray for our Country more so during this Period of Ramathan. Me and my Turkish friends have so far constructed 4 Mosques and each Mosque is being accompanied by a borehole in different sub counties,” noted Namuganza.
On this note Namuganza promised to lobby as much as she can to make sure that Muslims in her constituency and the nation at large complete the holy month successfully.
