Brig. Sabiiti who is in his 40s is a son of the late Mr Muzeei Magyenyi and Ms Javanis Magyenyi. He hails from Kakyerere parish, Rwanyamahembe sub-county in Mbarara district.

He is the sixth born of 10 siblings. He studied in Ntare School and Mbarara High School before joining Makerere University.
