Four time presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has lashed out at Security Minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde after his comment about the arrest of Bodaboda 2010 patron Abdallah Kitatta.
During last Saturday’s meeting with 17 boda boda groups at the President’s office, Gen. Tumukunde revealed that he was behind the arrest of Kitatta thus challenging whoever calls himself his godfather to come out and they face off.
“I arrested him and will arrest more criminals. That talk of ‘above’, behaving with impunity has no place in Uganda today. I want to see he who calls himself big -Godfather to Kitatta- to come out,” he said.
“Since we arrested Kitatta we have been waiting for people he has been calling his Godfathers in vain. There is no longer a place in Uganda for people called ‘the above,” Tumukunde added.
After, Tumukunde’s tough comment, Besigye went on his twitter to remind the security boss about the kind of person he works for.
The main opposition figure said Gen Tumukunde seems to have an incredible capacity to forget that he works for a self declared-chameleon thus advising him to work without swearing on anything.
“Gen Tumukunde seems to have incredible capacity to forget that he works for a self declared CHAMELEON! He would work without swearing on anything. Mafia system is official,” Besigye tweeted.
