Property owned by the infamous Boda boda 2010 group has been set ablaze by Bodaboda riders in Bukesa.

This happened on Monday morning as Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) raided the group’s offices.

The Boda boda riders claim they have suffered in silence for so long and this is their way of celebrating.

The security operatives have arrested more gang members following the incarceration of their ring leader Abdallah Kitatta.

Kitatta and others are accused of masterminding the murdering of Case Clinic Accountant Francis Ekalungar as well as theft and terrorizing Ugandans.

Kitatta is also the chairman of ruling party NRM Lubaga division, Kampala and had turned the Bodaboda 2010 into a militia that involved themselves in politics and worked with the Uganda police, according to them, to resolve crime in the city.
