While appearing on the Koona TV show on Spark TV hosted by Miles Rwamiti alongside fellow artiste A-Pass, Bebe Cool categorically stated Eddie Kenzo is not one of his 20 top artistes in Uganda.

He said there is so much talent in the country dropping names like Haruna Mubiru and Aziz Azion who he said are way better than Eddie Kenzo as artistes.

Given the ongoing tension between the two artistes, the show was dubbed ‘state of the Nation address’ for clearing the air on a ‘national issue.’

Putting his big ego aside Bebe Cool also admitted that Kenzo could be a bigger artiste than him like he loves to say but insisted he thinks Kenzo is just a lucky fellow who got a lucky break in the music industry and rode on it to the top not necessarily because he is very talented.

Onto this he emphasized the need to let the need to let the fans actually decide for themselves who is bigger.

He advised the ‘young star’ to seek parental guidance blaming a lot of the latter’s allusions on being young and more especially lack of self-esteem.

The self-titled Big Size also said he has given many young artistes the leeway to attack him, start ‘beef’ with him because he knows it helps boost their ratings as artistes.

Bebe Cool and Eddie Knezo have been throwing jibes at each other for a couple of years now starting way back before Eddie Kenzo picked up his famous BET award.

Bebe Cool always referred to Kenzo as an upcoming artiste even when the hit song ‘Stamina’ was rocking the airwaves but he had to lay low when Kenzo took it to the next level and scooped the first BET award to come to East Africa with his ‘Sitya loss’ monster hit.

They have since had ongoing battles on the low key with each accusing the other of having ‘no work’ as the saying goes. So much has their rivalry grown the two now have the most expensive videos in the industry using the best in the business locally Sasha Vybz and going international to hire the likes of God Father videos based in South Africa who charges from as much as 10,000 dollars a video about 36 million ugx and upwards.

And the fact that the industry’s top female artiste over the past few years Rema Namakula who was introduced to the industry through collaborating with Bebe Cool left him to start her own career and ended up being a fiancée and baby mama to Eddie Kenzo has not made the situation any better.

Kenzo being known for punching those who get to him and Bebe Cool having been a fighter as well in his earlier days, this verbal exchange could get physical if the two meet at close range any time soon.
