As today MPs on the Parliamentary Legal committee prepare to present both majority and minority reports on the controversial constitutional amendment bill 2017, Presidential Advisor on media issues Joseph Tamale Mirundi has lashed out at opposition legislators who don’t want the age limit bill scrapped.

While appearing on the famous ‘One on One with Tamale Mirundi’ show on NBS, Mirundi urged all MPs who are unsatisfied with what’s happening, should go and mourn at their homes since the amendment is already a done deal.

“If you’re not satisfied with what’s happening, go mourn from your home, those MPs should be disciplined. If they marry the woman you’re in love with, do you die?,”he inquired.

Mirundi further revealed that if President Yoweri Museveni managed to remove term limits then he cannot fail to remove age limit cap from the constitution.

“If Museveni removed term limits, will he fail to do the same for #Agelimit?” wondered Mirundi.
