National Resistance Movement (NRM) youth leader Secretary General Robert Rutaro has praised Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine for his scathing attacks on President Yoweri Museveni and NRM MPs over age limit amendment.
Rutaro described Bobi Wine as an MP who is not afraid to speak out and speak loudly to the entire population since he has no fear and owes nothing to anyone.
The youth leader said the legislator’s missive shows he loves Uganda and he is ready to change things.
On Wednesday, Bobi Wine wrote a tough missive attacking the president and MPs who are pushing for the amendment of age limit.
Read Rutaro’s statement;
Bobi Wine’s message is new in many ways. Not so much what he is saying when recounting history or stating the current problems.
The novelty stems from the fact that this is an MP not afraid to speak out and speak loudly to the entire population. This is a man who has no fear and who owes no one anything so as to render him beholden to one party or another. So he comes across as one who loves Uganda and is genuinely trying to change things. He is young and fresh.
Another thing is that people are surprised by how articulate he is. He had, in the past, appeared to only be a ganja-smoking dreadlocked rasta with some nice beats. Surprise!!! He is more than that.
People listen because Bobi Wine is beginning to represent HOPE. Hope that perhaps the solution to our issues lies somewhere we haven’t looked. In people we may have never considered.
