Last week during a meeting with top police commanders at State House Entebbe, President Yoweri Museveni inquired from the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura why he had to transfer Muhammad Kirumira from Old Kampala Police Station to Buyende as DPC yet he had tried to fight criminality in the city.

It seems the president was not satisfied with the explanation and so, he ordered for an immediate meeting with Kirumira. In the meeting at one of Museveni’s residences, the president and Kirumira discussed several issues which prompted Museveni to order for the return of the criminal hunter to Kampala on promotion.

Museveni wants Kirumira to be returned to Kampala because of his excellent and courageous record in fighting crime, which is troubling Kampala and its neighbourhood.

In every area Kirumira has served, common people have showed him their appreciation for his contribution in maintaining law and order.
