The woes with the Democratic Party (DP) every now and then are continuing to escalate whereby a section of party members accuse the Party President Norbert Mao and his vice Mukasa Mbidde for hobnobbing with the incumbent party NRM to exterminate the oldest political party in the country.
This time around it’s not Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze attacking Mao, it’s her close comrade Mathias Mpuuga, the Masaka Municipality MP.
During a press conference, Mpuuga said the party president has failed to manage the DP due to his incompetence.
He said Mao believes that there’s no problem and that he wants to lead the party up to 2021 thinking that all is well.
“Mao thinks that all is well, how absurd? And he says some of us are insane that we don’t understand what we are talking about,” angry Mpuuga lamented.
“If Mao believes there’s no problem with the party them he must be an astronaut from mars,” He added.
Mpuuga further said that they are planning to help and take Mao back to Northern Uganda to show him how things are being done because he has failed to do it completely.
