One dies as falling huge tree causes trailer collision in Mabira

A trailer driver has died in Kampala-Jinja highway trailer collision caused by a tree which fell in the middle of the road in the Mabira forest section, Buikwe district, on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Majid Kiwanuka, a trailer driver who was coming from South Sudan but collided with another trailer as a big tree fell in the middle of the road.

People who survived couldn’t talk about the accident due to the shock and didn’t know how they survived.

However some of the people who saw the accident said that it was due to a huge tree which fell in the middle of the road which the both the drivers didn’t recognized.
